How to Share an Attachment with a Reporter

Quick Reference

Case managers can share files with reporters directly through the IntegrityCounts messaging system. This allows you to provide documents, forms, or other materials to the reporter while maintaining the security of the platform.

How to Share an Attachment

Step 1: Open the Case

From the Case Manager Dashboard, click on the case.

Step 2: Go to Message Reporter

Click the Message Reporter tab in the left sidebar.

Step 3: Attach Your File

Click the attachment icon in the message toolbar. Browse and select the file you want to share. The file will be attached to your message.

Step 4: Add Context and Send

Type a message explaining what the attachment is and why you are sharing it. Click Send. The reporter will see both the message and the attachment when they log in to check their case.

Supported File Types and Limits

For details on accepted file types and size limits, see What type of attachment can I upload? What's the size limit for attachments?

Important Considerations

  • Attachments shared through Message Reporter are visible to the reporter. Do not share confidential investigation documents through this channel.
  • For internal document sharing with your investigation team, use Internal Messages instead.
  • All attachments are scanned for viruses and malware before being made available.

Key Takeaways

Share files with reporters through the Message Reporter tab. Only share documents that are appropriate for the reporter to see. For internal team documents, use Internal Messages.
