IntegrityCounts Knowledge Base

How can we help?

How can I protect my report from my manager or other individuals?

Quick Reference

When filing a report in IntegrityCounts, you can use the Protect Your Report feature to prevent specific individuals from viewing your case. This is especially important when your report involves someone who normally has access to case data, such as a manager, director, or executive.

How to Protect Your Report

During the report filing process, you will see a section asking if there is anyone you want to protect your report from. Enter the name(s) of the individual(s) you are concerned about.

If any of the people you name are case managers in IntegrityCounts, the system automatically blocks them from seeing your report. They will not be able to view, search for, or receive notifications about your case.

You can list multiple individuals if needed.

What If the Person Is Not a Case Manager?

If the person you name is not a case manager, they never had access to the platform to begin with. However, naming them still provides useful context to the investigation team about potential conflicts of interest.

Additional Protection Measures

  • Choose your anonymity level: You can file as Strictly Anonymous, Anonymous from Organization, or Not Anonymous. See How can I protect my identity while filing a report online?
  • Be careful with identifying details: If you want to remain anonymous, avoid including very specific details that only a small number of people would know
  • Use a personal device: For maximum privacy, consider filing from a personal device rather than a work computer

Key Takeaways

Use the Protect Your Report feature during filing to block specific individuals from seeing your case. Combined with anonymity options, this gives you multiple layers of protection when reporting sensitive concerns.
