How can we help?

How can I communicate with investigators about my report?

Quick Reference

IntegrityCounts provides a secure, built-in messaging system that lets you communicate with case managers and investigators without revealing your identity (if you chose to remain anonymous). All communication happens within the platform.

How to Send and Receive Messages

Step 1: Log In to Your Case

Visit your organization's IntegrityCounts reporting page and select "Check a Report." Enter your case number and password.

Step 2: View Messages

Once logged in, you will see any messages that investigators have sent to you. These might include follow-up questions, requests for additional information, or acknowledgement that your report is being reviewed.

Step 3: Reply

Type your response in the message box and click Send. You can also attach files if you have supporting documentation to share.

Is My Identity Protected?

Yes. If you chose to file anonymously, your messages are delivered through the IntegrityCounts platform without revealing any identifying information. Investigators see your messages but cannot trace them back to you.

For more on anonymity options, see How can I protect my identity while filing a report online?

How Will I Know When There Is a New Message?

  • If you provided an email address: You will receive an email notification when investigators send you a message.
  • If you filed anonymously without email: You will need to log in periodically to check for new messages. We recommend checking regularly, especially in the first few weeks after filing.

Key Takeaways

Communicate securely with investigators through the IntegrityCounts messaging system. Your anonymity is preserved throughout the conversation. Log in regularly to check for messages and respond promptly to help the investigation move forward.
