Can I change my contact information after filing a report?
Quick Reference
If you provided contact information when filing your IntegrityCounts report and need to update it, you can do so by sending a message through the platform's messaging system.
How to Update Your Contact Information
Step 1: Log In to Your Case
Visit your organization's IntegrityCounts reporting page and select "Check a Report." Enter your case number and password.
Step 2: Send a Message
Use the messaging system to send a message to the case managers letting them know your updated contact information (email address, phone number, etc.).
Step 3: Investigators Update the Record
The case management team will update your contact details in the case record based on your message.
Important Considerations
- If you filed as Strictly Anonymous and did not provide contact information, there is no contact record to update.
- Providing updated contact information does not change your anonymity level. See Can I change my level of anonymity?
- All messages, including those with contact updates, are part of the permanent case record.
Key Takeaways
Update your contact information by sending a message through the IntegrityCounts messaging system. Investigators will update the case record. This does not change your anonymity level.
