How to Save a Draft Question
Quick Reference
The draft feature in IntegrityCounts lets you save a message before sending it. This is useful when you need to review your wording, gather more information, or get input from a colleague before communicating with a reporter or posting an internal note.
How to Save a Draft
Step 1: Open the Message Interface
Navigate to either the Message Reporter tab or the Internal Messages tab within a case.
Step 2: Compose Your Message
Type your message in the text box. Add any formatting or attachments as needed.
Step 3: Click Save Draft
Instead of clicking Send, click Save Draft. Your message is saved and visible only to you.
How to Resume a Draft
To return to a saved draft:
- Open the same case and navigate to the messaging tab where you saved the draft
- Your draft will appear in the message compose area
- Edit as needed, then click Send when ready or Save Draft again to continue later
Drafts are not visible to other users, investigators, or the reporter until you send them.
Key Takeaways
Save drafts when you need time to refine a message before sending. Drafts are private to you and remain available until you send or discard them.
