How Do I Export All My Case Data?
Quick Reference
IntegrityCounts offers two ways to export your case data. Choose the right option depending on what you need:
| Export Option | Format | What's Included | What's Not Included |
|---|---|---|---|
|
Export CSV (all cases at once) |
CSV spreadsheet (.csv) | 34 fields per case including: case number, report date, truncated description and case summary (first ~200 characters each), case types, location, department, status, priority, tags, anonymity level, assigned investigator, outcome, and more | Full case descriptions and summaries (truncated to ~200 characters), file attachments, full message content, internal message content, and activity logs (Messages and Attachments columns show Yes/No only) |
|
Export Individual Case (one case at a time) |
Password-protected PDF | Complete case record including full description, all messages, activity log, and all file attachments | N/A — this is the most comprehensive export |
Need a complete record of everything? Use both: the CSV export for a high-level summary across all cases, and individual PDF exports for any cases where you need the full record including attachments and messages.
Option 1: Export CSV (All Cases)
The Export CSV feature creates a single spreadsheet file containing summary data for every case in your Case Manager. This is useful for reporting, auditing, or getting a quick overview of your case history.
Step 1: Open Case Manager
Log in to app.integritycounts.ca and navigate to the Case Manager dashboard.
Step 2: Click Export CSV
In the top right corner of Case Manager, click the Export CSV button.

Step 3: Open the Downloaded File
The CSV file will download to your computer automatically. You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application.
What's in the CSV Export
The export includes 34 columns of data for each case:
| Category | Fields |
|---|---|
| Case Details | Case #, Company, Report Date, Date of Occurrence, Month, Case Source, Description, Case Summary |
| Classification | Case Types, Primary Case Type, Location, Department, Tags, Priority |
| Reporter Info | Case Anonymity Level, Proxy (Yes/No), Previously Reported, Is Employee, Is Referred, Additional Information, Restricted Managers |
| Status & Workflow | Status, Days Open, Assigned To, Updated, Closed By, Closed On, 15 Days No Action |
| Outcome | Validation Type, Action Type, Outcome Action |
| Flags (Yes/No only) | Messages, Internal Messages, hasAttachments |
What's NOT in the CSV Export
The CSV export provides a summary view. It does not include:
• Full case descriptions and case summaries (both the Description and Case Summary columns are truncated to approximately 200 characters)
• File attachments (the hasAttachments column only indicates whether attachments exist)
• Full message content (the Messages and Internal Messages columns only show Yes or No)
• Activity logs showing who viewed, edited, or acted on each case
• Investigator notes or task details
If you need the complete record for any case including attachments and messages, use the individual case export described below.
Important: Filters Affect Your Export
If you have filters active in Case Manager when you click Export CSV, the export will only include the filtered cases. To export everything, make sure all filters are cleared first.
You can use this to your advantage: apply a date range filter, company filter, or status filter to export only the cases you need.
Option 2: Export an Individual Case (PDF)
For a complete record of a single case, including the full description, all messages, activity history, and file attachments, use the individual case export. Each case is exported as a password-protected PDF.

Planning to Close Your Account?
If your organization is transitioning away from IntegrityCounts, we recommend exporting your data before the account closure date. Use the CSV export for a summary of all cases, and export individual cases as PDFs for any cases where you need the full record including attachments and messages.
After account closure, data is retained securely for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
Key Takeaways
CSV export = summary of all cases in one spreadsheet. Descriptions and case summaries are truncated (~200 characters). Does not include attachments, full message content, or activity logs.
Individual PDF export = complete record of one case at a time, including everything.
For a complete backup of your data, use both options together.
