User Roles & Permissions
This guide explains how to complete the User Roles tab in your IntegrityCounts setup sheet and how each role functions within the platform. This ensures proper access and visibility when reports are filed.
Key Roles in IntegrityCounts:
You’ll be asked to assign users to one of the following roles. Each user can only hold one role.
Manager

- Receives and reviews all non-restricted reports
- Assigns investigators, manages cases, adds notes, and exports case data
-
Cannot view cases where they are marked as implicated
Backup Manager

- Same permissions as Manager
-
Receives reports only when all Managers are implicated
Investigator

-
Only sees and manages cases they are assigned to
Analyst

- Cannot view reports or case details.
- Has access only to the Insights Center for analytics and trend reporting.
Important: One person cannot be assigned to multiple roles.
Best Practices When Assigning Roles
- Assign at least one Backup Manager (this is required).
- Choose Managers to oversee and direct sensitive cases.
- Avoid overlapping roles to prevent access conflicts.
- Keep the user list up to date — notify our customer support team at support@integritycounts.ca if any users change or need to be removed.
